About Us

Since 2001, American Tire and Service has been a proud family business serving drivers in Rio Rancho and surrounding communities. In 2007, we moved to our current location near Highway 528 and Ridgecrest Drive, expanding and upgrading our facility.

Owner Roger Duchaussee and His Sons Alex and David Duchaussee have been long-time Rio Rancho Residents and have been Contributing Members of the Community.

American Tire and Service has won several awards and has received many honors. We are an A+ member of the BBB and have a AAA rating of 99%. We have also received Ethics in Business awards and received the “Best Mechanic in Rio Rancho” award from the Rio Rancho Observer. We were voted Top 5 Best of the City “Auto Repair Shop” in Albuquerque The Magazine.

The staff at American Tire and Service have done much to help the community that has been so good to them. Such places as St. Felix Pantry, Children’s Psychiatric Center, Soldier’s Angels, Watermelon Ranch, Children’s Miracle Network and the Police and Fire Departments have all benefited from the generosity of the employees and owners of American Tire. They have also sponsored many athletic teams and school programs in the city of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque.
